In my work life I spent a great deal of time in both the restaurant industry and cellular sales in various roles.  I have always had a love for technology that started as a child. Movies were a big deal for me and my brothers and sisters growing up on a farm and to a lesser extent video games; more specifically Atari games like Tanks, Joust, and Pac Man. Later it was Nintendo, which of course meant Super Mario, Duck Hunt, some kind of track game with a pad to run on and Ecco: Tides of time. I never could figure that game out. There was a level none of us could get passed. I still think about that from time to time. It’s weird the things that stay with you. Growing up on a farm a good deal of our time was spent with and taking care of animals. There was always work of some kind to be done and more as you grew into it.  I’m a big fan of nature in general and suspect I always will be. I decided finally to finish my degree after far to long having grown stagnant in my work life and felt a career change would offer new learning experiences and a chance to develop new skills and create new things. I graduated during the pandemic in June of 2020.

I am most passionate about motion work and 3D sculpting but have a wide range of skills including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Animate, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Zbrush, and WordPress.

I was committed to the Army National Guard for 8 years. I learned a great deal from that experience in terms of skills, character building and leadership. Hard work and patience were also indelibly inscribed in me thanks to the time I spent there.  I decided to leave these things and finally work toward a goal I was excited about.

My spare time is spent caring for family, DIY projects of all kinds, except for plumbing if I can help it. I still have a deep love for cinema and video games when time allows. I read a great deal particularly science fiction, but also fiction, current events, world news and politics. Though I don’t really want to have conversations about the latter if I can help it. I have two dogs who have become accustomed to a large amount of love and so I work hard to make sure I don’t let them down.
